The house with the apartment is located just before the West Frisian dike and 5 km from the activity beach at Petten. A popular place to have a nice coffee or something to eat is Zee en zo.
The nearest restaurants can be found in Tuitjenhorn and Warmenhuizen. But there are many restaurants in this area.
The view from the house is to the east of the West Frisian ring dike, to the south of the Schoorlse dunes, to the west the village of Burgerbrug and to the north over the meadows (and sometimes tulip fields) to Sint Maartensbrug and – if the sky is clear – Schagen will be visible.
